Tandragee 100
Dubliner Martin Finnegan, the Mr "Nice Guy" of Irish motorcycle
road racing, turned today's Tandragee 100 into a place of mourning after he
was killed in the 600cc race following his victory in the open class earlier
in the day.
Cookstown 100
Ryan Farquhar is once more the king of the Cookstown 100. This afternoon in
a sunlit County Tyrone Farquhar was in tremendous form when he won the open
race.
Newly crowned British Supersport champion Michael Laverty faces an important
date on Wednesday for it is then that he will get to grips with the new
Superbike provided by TAS Suzuki which Michael hopes will give him his fifth
victory in the Sunflower Trophy next Sunday.
Ulster star still chasing British crown
Jonathan Rea begins "mission impossible" this weekend when he
attempts to stay in touch for the British Superbike Championship knowing
that there are only two rounds to go.
