Newly crowned British Supersport champion Michael Laverty faces an important
date on Wednesday for it is then that he will get to grips with the new
Superbike provided by TAS Suzuki which Michael hopes will give him his fifth
victory in the Sunflower Trophy next Sunday.
Sebastien Loeb had the Rally of France in his grasp as he ended the second
leg in Corsica this afternoon with a 17-second lead.
Colin Turkington will lead off the second row of the grid for his World
Touring Car Championship debut at Brands Hatch tomorrow.
Kris Meeke will watch from the sidelines as his former Citroen team-mates
Sebastien Loeb and Dani Sordo take to the Irish roads around Cork next
weekend.
Ulster star still chasing British crown
Jonathan Rea begins "mission impossible" this weekend when he
attempts to stay in touch for the British Superbike Championship knowing
that there are only two rounds to go.
