Joint leaders Dergview romped to a sensational 10-0 victory against a
mediocre Chimney Corner at Darragh Park.
The home side was up and running from the first whistle, although it was the
17th minute before they registered their first goal when Gareth Sproule
finished from close range.
Towering striker Richard Lecky headed in No.2 from a Gareth Porter free kick
before Lecky squared for Andrew Sproule to make 3-0 at the break.
The scoring rate intensified on the resumption of the second half with
Andrew and Gareth Sproule both netting in the opening five minutes before
Lecky completed the half-dozen.
Aaron Arkinson scored the seventh and ninth goals which arrived either side
of Lecky completing his hat-trick with a 25-yard thunderbolt.
Two minutes from time Andy McFarland made it double figures with a
left-footed volley.
