Linfield hero Peter Thompson has dedicated this Irish Cup triumph to the
late David Crawford who died last year.
BACK in the mid-nineties one of the most exciting players in the English Premiership was Southampton's Matt Le Tissier.
A cheeky back-heel here, a forty yard pass there; 'Le God', as he was known by Saints fans, was one of those players who was worth the entrance fee alone.
With a treble double in the bag it's no surprise then that Linfield will paint the town red this evening.
A third league and cup triumph in three seasons came in a kit of an Arsenal hue, but, unlike the Wenger boys, this is a team well used to open top buses.

Limavady United may well be on their way out of senior football but they did

Paul McVeigh scored four times at Celtic Park today to maintain Donegal
Celtic's unbeaten home record in 2008 and end the season on a high.
